This template is for residential cleaning businesses that want every visit finished to the same standard. It lists tasks room by room, splits routine work from deep-clean work, and leaves room for time estimates so you can quote accurately. It is a field checklist, not a service agreement — adjust it to what each client actually pays for.

How to use the checklist
- Standard column = every visit. These are the tasks included in your regular price. If it is on this list and the client pays for standard cleaning, it gets done.
- Deep column = scheduled extras. Deep tasks (ovens, grout, interior windows) are priced separately or rotated monthly — see the cleaning schedule template for the rotation planner.
- Fill in realistic minutes before you quote. Timed tasks are how you stop underquoting — our guide to house cleaning pricing shows the math.
- Done column gets a tick by the cleaner who did the work, not the office. The completed checklist doubles as your visit record.
Room-by-room coverage
The template covers kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, entry and hallways, laundry/utility, and whole-house finish tasks (final walkthrough, trash to exit, lock-up, and a client report). Every room separates the routine standard-cleaning tasks from the deep-clean extras so crew members never have to guess what a visit includes.
