Terms & Conditions
The rules and guidelines for using the CleanerHQ platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CleanerHQ platform (“Service”) at app.cleanerhq.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CleanerHQ is a business management platform for the cleaning industry, providing quote-to-cash operations including customer relationship management, job scheduling, invoicing, payments, and customer communications. The Service is provided to cleaning business owners (“Workspace Owners”) who use it to manage their operations and communicate with their end customers (“Clients”).
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
4.1 Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your phone number through the CleanerHQ platform — including through the client portal, booking widget, or when your cleaning service provider adds your contact information — you consent to receive transactional SMS/text messages from CleanerHQ on behalf of your cleaning service provider.
4.2 Types of Messages
You may receive the following types of SMS notifications:
- Appointment reminders — upcoming service date and time confirmations
- “On My Way” alerts — notification that your cleaning crew is en route
- Job completion notices — confirmation that your service has been completed
- Invoice and payment reminders — billing notifications with payment links
- Review requests — post-service feedback requests
- Service updates — scheduling changes, cancellations, or other job-related updates
4.3 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service schedule. Typical volume is 2–6 messages per service visit (reminder, on-my-way, completion, invoice). You will not receive more than 20 messages per month unless you have a high-frequency service schedule.
4.4 Opt-In
SMS consent is collected in the following ways:
- Client Portal: When you create an account or update your communication preferences at app.cleanerhq.com
- Booking Widget: When you submit a service request through an embedded CleanerHQ booking form on your cleaning provider’s website
- Service Agreement: When your cleaning service provider adds your contact details and you are informed of SMS communications as part of your service agreement
You may also opt in by texting START, YES, or SUBSCRIBE to our messaging number.
4.5 Opt-Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from CleanerHQ.
You can also opt out by:
- Updating your communication preferences in the Client Portal at app.cleanerhq.com
- Contacting your cleaning service provider directly
After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you opt back in.

4.7 Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. CleanerHQ does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
4.8 Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4.9 Sending Hours
In compliance with TCPA regulations, SMS messages are only sent between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone, except for emergency or time-sensitive safety alerts (e.g., SOS crew safety notifications).
5. Subscription and Billing
5.1 Plans
CleanerHQ offers the following subscription tiers: Free, Growth ($29/month), Scale ($79/month), and Enterprise ($199/month, invite-only). Plan features and usage limits are described on our pricing page.
5.2 Payment Processing
- CleanerHQ subscriptions are billed through Polar. By subscribing, you agree to Polar’s terms of service.
- Customer-facing payments (invoices sent to your Clients) are processed through your own connected Stripe account (“Bring Your Own Stripe”). CleanerHQ does not handle or store your Clients’ payment card information.
5.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your workspace billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access another workspace’s data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious code or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
- Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing messages or spam via SMS
- Exceed your plan’s usage limits through automated means
7. Data and Privacy
7.1 Multi-Tenant Isolation
Each workspace’s data is logically isolated. You can only access data belonging to your own workspace.
7.2 Data You Provide
You retain ownership of all data you input into CleanerHQ (customer records, job details, invoices, etc.). We do not sell your data to third parties.
7.3 Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers for specific functions:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing (your connected account)
- Twilio — SMS message delivery
- Resend — email delivery
- Google Maps — route optimization and geocoding
- Vercel — application hosting and file storage
- DeepL — real-time message translation (for multilingual team communication)
Your use of these integrations is subject to each provider’s respective terms and privacy policies.
7.4 AI Features
CleanerHQ uses AI for proposal generation and a natural language copilot assistant. AI-processed data is used solely to provide the requested feature and is not used to train models.

8. Intellectual Property
The CleanerHQ platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the property of CleanerHQ. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business operations during your subscription period.
9. Limitation of Liability
CleanerHQ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CleanerHQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- CleanerHQ is not liable for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- CleanerHQ is not responsible for actions taken by cleaning service providers or their employees
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanerHQ from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which CleanerHQ operates.
