Where this started
Eleven cleaning businesses, one referral at a time.
The first paid work Rashdi took as a freelancer, back in 2006, came from US cleaning companies: websites, enquiry forms, and a mobile tool for tracking jobs against a calendar. Four core clients grew to eleven over the years, every one of them arriving by referral.
Years of that work, plus a long stretch as those owners' virtual assistant, taught one lesson. For an owner-operator, the website, the enquiry form, the calendar, and the job are not four systems. They are one continuous worry, and it is the same worry every day.
In 2025 he went back and interviewed four former clients about the software they were paying for. Costs climbing, service thinning, products growing broader instead of better. CleanerHQ was the answer, and it started life as Q2C, an internal tool commissioned by a 14-person US cleaning business.
The language gap nobody talked about
Crews often work in Spanish. Customers mostly don't.
Across the businesses we served, schedule changes, "running 10 minutes late" messages, and before-and-after photos regularly crossed a language line, and the owner was usually the translator stuck in the middle.
Few tools handle this well. CleanerHQ ships with multilingual chat and translation built in, because that gap eats real minutes on real jobs every day.

01 · Pricing
Two seat types. Every feature.
$19 per admin seat, $5 per crew seat, per month, includes CRM, scheduling, invoicing, routing, payroll export, mobile app, client portal, analytics, and profitability insight. A typical shop, 1 owner + 1 admin + 8 cleaners, runs $78/mo ($936/yr). The handful of paid add-ons exist because they cost us real money to run.
02 · Language
Multilingual chat by default.
Cleaning crews often work in Spanish while customers message in English. Live translation is built into CleanerHQ because that gap eats owner time every day, not because it looked good on a feature list.
03 · AI
AI on the job site, not just in the back office.
Smart scheduling, AI proposals, the AI phone assistant, ghost-clock-out detection, SOS safety alerts, built around one question: does this make the hardest part of someone's day a little easier?
A living product
We ship new features every other week. Operators drive the roadmap.
CleanerHQ is a living application, and it always will be. Some of what ships comes from our own roadmap. A lot of it comes from operators telling us, "I wish it did X", and we build X, because we've had the same problem.
We also believe AI belongs with the ground staff, not just in the back office. The cleaner on a job site, the dispatcher juggling five calls, the owner trying to price a walk-through on a Saturday afternoon, that's where AI needs to show up and make the day easier.
