Follow up when a cleaning job is done.

A finished job may still need a follow-up. Keep the client’s feedback with the work so you can see what needs a reply.

Check the job before you ask

Make sure the work is done and the client knows whom to contact. A request for a review should not replace a reply about missed work or a wrong bill.

Give each client the same review choice

Do not ask only happy clients for a public review. Google’s rules do not allow that. Do not offer a reward for a good review or ask a client to remove criticism for a refund.

Handle a complaint without hiding the review link

Reply to the issue and keep a record of the agreed next step. A private reply can help solve the problem. It should not take away the client’s chance to leave a public review.

Set up a fair follow-up

Before turning on review requests, check that each client gets the same review choice. Keep the follow-up linked to the finished job.

Choose the contact method and timing with care. A review request should ask for the client’s view, not steer them toward a set rating.

Check text consent and timing

Use the client’s allowed contact method and respect stop requests. Check what a message says and who receives it. A request for job updates is not permission to send ads.

Before you decide

Can I send a review link only to happy clients?

No. Give clients the same chance to review the work, whatever they said in private feedback.

How should I set up review requests?

Give all clients the same review choice. Check their contact details, text consent, and timing. Keep the request with the job it follows.
