When customers pay invoices, the money flows directly from their payment method to your Stripe account and then to your bank—CleanerHQ never touches or holds your funds. You maintain a direct relationship with Stripe, control your payout settings, and keep your complete transaction history.
Does CleanerHQ really take no commission on my payments?
Correct—CleanerHQ takes absolutely zero commission on your payment transactions. We charge a flat subscription fee for access to our platform, regardless of how much revenue you process. Whether you collect $5,000 or $500,000 per month through CleanerHQ, your subscription cost remains the same. The only transaction fees you pay are Stripe’s standard processing rates (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction in the US).
What if I don't have a Stripe account yet?
No problem—Stripe accounts are free to create and typically take just a few minutes to set up. When you connect CleanerHQ to Stripe for the first time, you’ll have the option to create a new Stripe account. Stripe will ask for basic business information, banking details for deposits, and identity verification. Once verified (usually within 1-2 business days), you’re ready to accept payments.
When will Square integration be available?
Square integration is currently in development and coming soon. Our Square integration will follow the same BYOS philosophy—connect your own Square account, process payments directly, and pay zero commission to CleanerHQ. What happens to my payment history if I ever leave CleanerHQ?
Because payments process through your own Stripe account, your complete transaction history belongs to you and stays with you. If you ever decide to leave CleanerHQ, your Stripe account remains fully intact with all historical transactions, customer payment methods, recurring billing setups, and reporting data. You’re never locked in based on payment processing dependencies.
